책 소개
Let's Start Exploring PNU with Your Senior! I still remember the day I first set foot on this campus like it was yesterday. It’s been a while since then, and I’ve grown a lot alongside the school from my undergrad days to now. The campus has changed a lot over the years, just like me. Dusty dirt paths have been replaced by smooth asphalt roads, and the old, low-rise buildings have been replaced by towering skyscrapers. The iconic clock tower is gone, and the once-wide athletic field called Neogteo (meaning “ample site”) now feels a little cramped. The field is now at the highest point on campus, so just walking to the stadium is like a workout! The museum, which used to be tucked away behind the Natural Science Building, has been beautifully restored after renovations. It’s hard to picture where the sculpture park is now. There used to be a small stone building that housed a publishing company, and it looked a lot like the current museum. If that building had stayed put, it might’ve made our campus even more charming. As I walk around campus now, I can’t help but think about how PNU has changed. Seeing familiar sights brings back memories—like passing by the Nonghyup Bank, which reminds me of those days spent buying books at the old bookstore, or walking through the main gate and recalling the times we climbed over the wall when it was closed. The changes at PNU aren’t just about new buildings. They also mark the end of the old campus and the beginning of something new—and we’re all in! Places hold power! They carry memories over time. It’s like how an old photo or a familiar smell can transport you back in time, and our campus does the same for us. Here, we learn, laugh, and sometimes deal with our worries. But everyone’s connection to a place is unique. As they say, “You see what you know.” The more you know, the deeper you feel. Even a place you pass by all the time can have a story waiting to be discovered. So, how well do we really know our PNU? The stories I’m about to share aren’t epic, but they’re probably ones you’ve heard before. They’re also the kind of tales that tend to fade away with time. The places you’ll visit on campus are full of the history and traditions of PNU. Once you find out the stories behind their names and histories, you’ll see these places in a whole new light. Take a stroll and discover the hidden gems that PNU has to offer. Let the university’s history and traditions come to life as you explore. Let’s take my hand and explore PNU together! This book is like a fun game—it’s all about discovering keywords, visiting cool spots, and completing missions. I hope you find your own special corner of PNU, just like uncovering a treasure. Oct 31. 2025. Your senior, Kwon Jung-won, is here to join you on this exciting journey.
