책 소개

Book Description Most people who attend church know specifically how to pray to God, but still, many do not know how they should pray. Sometimes they pray out of habit, like reciting an incantation, or their prayers might be filled with fluent rhetoric, or they might offer hypocritical or perfunctory prayers. Moving away from these unfavorable outward appearances of godliness, the author hopes that people will once again establish the correct posture of prayer through the prayer taught by Jesus and recover a life that experiences the power of godliness. The people God used throughout history in every age were all people of prayer. The Apostle Paul said to pray without ceasing, and Augustine experienced deep piety and repentance through his life of prayer. Furthermore, Luther prayed for three to four hours a day while fighting for the Reformation to return to the Word. John Wesley transformed England through three hours of daily prayer. And the reason Calvin was able to systematically establish Christian doctrine through the Institutes of the Christian Religion was because it was solely the fruit of prayer realized in a prayerful state. It is true that the time available to pray using the Lord's Prayer is very short. However, by training with this book and rightly understanding the essence of the prayer taught by the Lord, people can become those who pray for three to four hours or more with right and deep prayer. To achieve this goal, the "Ha Ha Ha God Thank You" method (1 Thessalonians 5:16-19) is introduced at the end of each petition. You can pray by following the prayer provided by this method, or after becoming familiar with it, you will be able to offer prayers of response richly within the Word, guided by the Holy Spirit's inspiration, focusing on the essence and content of the Lord's Prayer. You will naturally realize that the author's work was not simply intended to interpret the Lord's Prayer as you read the book. The manner of developing the content was intended to be unique and engaging, and it was written with a new spiritual discernment so that readers would not think, "This must be obvious content." For the dialogue-opening examples, the author presented many testimonies received through his own faith. Furthermore, through various practical examples that can be applied to daily life and pondered over, the reader is encouraged to ask questions and pray for themselves. The NASB (New American Standard Bible) & &KJB (King James Bible) were used for the English Bible, and the book was designed to enable learners to pray with God's Word through the Lord's Prayer. This book also will be used as a textbook for the GPLI (Global Prayer Leadership Institute) with the other books of the author. The author hopes that this work will be translated into other languages by the grace of God. This book will also be used as a textbook for Prayer Movement to share the purpose and spirit of the international prayer community (Global Prayer Society = GPS ministry; www.thegps.kr and https://gps.m-sol.kr) which the author started. Moreover, the foundational training and methods provided in this book will be encountered moment by moment through various translations of the Lord’s Prayer Booklet (it was translated into 20 languages). You can check the above website to download or print other languages of the prayer booklets.
