책 소개

Changing the WayWe See On the path to Bulgwang Temple, I set aside the habit of taking in the view all at once. I focused on small gaps, and the faint landscape became clear. The long road I had walked slowly came into understanding. As my way of seeing changed, what had remained unseen began to appear. Relaxing my eyes and looking into the distance, near and far merged into a single scene. Even the unnoticed time held quietly growing fruits. Walking through the park paths, I sensed that time exists in multiple layers. In some places, time seemed still. The gate of a closed school remained firmly shut, and a stray cat watched passersby slowly moving. Elsewhere, time moved swiftly. Footsteps climbed toward the library, daily life unfolded in sunlight. Beneath these steps, deep underground, the GTX-A train flashed through the darkness like light. Stillness and speed, analog and digital, breathed together in the same space. Time is not a single line, but a flow of overlapping textures. The temple path and park trail teach quietly: the world does not move at one speed. Even small gaps hold meaning, slow steps carry value. In the time that seems gone but is not, something unseen continues to grow. Softening our gaze and looking into the distance, we realize that even living at different speeds and perspectives, we all arrive at the same place in the end.
