책 소개
Preface Like Snow, Time Passes Time passes like falling snow. Small fragments descend from the sky, settling quietly on tiled roofs, stone walls, and our memories. Time, too, comes to rest within us this way. Walking through Eunpyeong Hanok Village, though newly built, the curves and breath of hanok architecture carry traces of a thousand years. Homes for people today, yet the presence of those who came before lingers along the edges of the eaves. With the first snowfall, the village grows quieter still. Snow softens every edge, momentarily blurring the line between past and present. Footprints along the stone path soon vanish, yet each step remains. Something that seems to vanish yet does not, that seems to remain yet fades — that is who we are. We walk through time, leaving traces along the way. Before the Eunpyeong History Hanok Museum, I pause. Just as traces buried in the earth return to the world, today's snowflakes, too, will settle into memory. Sounds drift beyond the walls. No need to look inside — life unfolds quietly from within. Autumn 2026 Hongsahn
