Jeollabuk-do Provincial Officeold Jeollabuk-do Provincial Office was built at the current site in 1921, when Korean was ruled by Japan. Afterwards, in 1951, the building was entirely burnt down. The new building was built the following year and has been maintained for 60 years. However, the building was removed for construction work to restore Jellagamyeong, which had control over Honam Province in the Joseon Dynasty era.archives are not common. These days, it is possible to reproduce historical sites with high-tech imaging, but, it is only processed, re-enacted history. History, itself is unable to be treated as authentic one, but it could appeal to everyone through archival records which contain the truth of history, by contemplating as it is, rather than a distortion of time.old Jeollabuk-do Provincial Office was a place where people could see the architectural culture of its time. It is unfortunate that this kind of physical space disappeared and is not able to be seen any longer. are expected to reenact sites by recording facts. Of course, the recorded images are meaningful but they are nothing more than processed material. Documentary means taking hold of authentic reality with historical truth by contemplating it as it is rather than distorting time. are not considered to be the only means of recording of history. Various accounts of history are recorded through paper or images. However, I would like to capture culture of era on a page of history through a recording device, photograph. Also, there is a goal to leave a record for future generations as well as preserve historical material as a value of architectural culture and of administrative agency of Jeollabuk-do space has a central impact on life in human development. Photographic recording leads to collective memory, which plays the role of a bridge between present and future. It means the physical space has more effect on us than any other space we belong to. to these physical spaces means recording things which remind me of the past, present and future. I believe we create a new human culture in these spaces.
