책 소개
INTRODUCTIONForest is an important part of the ecosystem of the earth and the basis of healthy and sustainable development of human society, Forest ecosystems are the major components of terrestrial ecosystems. On the basis of their high primary productivity and abundant biodiversity, they play crucial roles in underpinning global ecosystems and human social-economic development. Forests provide a variety of key services to human society, including carbon storage, water purification and species habitats. Forests account for 75 percent of the primary productivity of the Earth's biosphere and account for 80 percent of plant biomass. Forests can provide various ecosystem services for human beings, such as carbon cycle, climate regulation and natural disaster mitigation. In addition, forests also have various ecological functions such as conserving soil, preventing wind and sand, and absorbing carbon dioxide. Forest belongs to a kind of renewable, in addition to a rule of his own growth disappear, also will be affected by the influence of environmental factors and human factors aspects. For the healthy growth of forests and the rational use of forest resources, it is necessary to improve the quality of forests through the management of forest resources. In 1994, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization clearly stated in the International Forest Resources Monitoring Framework that forest basic parameters are an important part of forest resource monitoring. The measurement of forests is the prerequisite for a correct understanding of forests, management and utilization of ecosystems, and forest basic data is the basic basis for studying forestry issues and ecological issues. By using the means of forest survey, can understanding of forest resources do it in a timely manner, to ensure the stability of the forest ecosystem.Measuring instruments have played a major role in forest management and forest resource surveys. In recent years, as the awareness of the role of forests has increased, the workload of forest survey design and forest resource inventory has increased dramatically, traditional simple instruments have been unable to meet measurement needs. With the development of science and technology, forest measurement technology is constantly developing and updating, advanced measuring instruments are constantly appearing, and measurement methods are continuously developed and improved. Therefore, the proper use of measuring instruments is the foundation of forest management and forest research, it is an important skill that every researcher should be proficient in.
