책 소개
Gifts in languageI like to share my thoughts on translating my poetry collection 『God’s Gift ~ Mothers』 into the English version,『God’s Gift ~ Mothers』.The part I like most from the Analects of Confucius is this: "If you like ‘In(仁)’ and you don't like learning you become foolish, if you like wisdom and you don't like learning, then the result is hollowness and debauchery, if you like loyalty and you don't like learning then it is harmful to righteousness, if you like honesty and don’t like learning you become heartless, if you like courage but don’t like learning the result is violence and chaos, if you like to be firm but don’t like to learn the result is insanity.”Writing is a process and product of my learning. ‘In(仁)’ also means love. It is wondrous to see love for people, things, and nature being united by poetry. My name contains the characters ‘In(仁)’ and I want to live up to the meaning of my name.I want to express my thanks to my role models, Prof. Seong-ho Yoo, Prof. Sang-ho Lee, Prof. Jeong-min, Jae-bok Lee, Prof. Kyeong-seok Seo, Prof. Do-heum Lee, Prof. Seong-hwan Cha, Prof. Seon-tae Jeong, Prof. Dong-ok Shin, Prof. Heung-nyeon Kim, Prof. Kyeong-dong Han.
