책 소개
19개의 영어 단편 이야기들로, 미선이라는 한국 여성의 실제 다이어리를 바탕으로 미선과 토니부부의 삶에서 생긴 일들을 소재로 삼고있다. 메인 주인공들은 작은 곰들인데 이들은 미선이 영국에서 생전 처음으로 만난 그녀의 테디베어가 인연이 되어 계속 세계 도처에서 만나게 되며 그들은 토니가 붙여주는 이름을 가지고 미선과 토니 부부와 함께 삶을 공유하게 된다. 미선 토니 부부와 작은 곰들은 영국, 스코틀랜드 한국을 돌아가며 거주하고 있는 데, 14개의 이야기는 UK를 배경으로 하며 5개는 한국을 배경으로 하여 작은 곰들에게 벌어지는 예기치 않은 사건들과 이에 대처해나가는 그들의 모험담을 담고있다.이 책은 작은 곰들과 미선과 토니가 '에디스 오 씨'를 짓기로 의견을 모으고 계획하며 이야기를 끝낸다.
